Open Water Course Description

The Open Water Scuba Program is our first step into the underwater world. This program will prepare you with the basics of scuba diving, equipment use and safe diving practices. At Pacific Quest Dive Center we have flexible schedules to fit your needs or you can enroll in one of our monthly programs.

Schedule A: Private & Semiprivate Programs

This option is for those who have a difficult schedule or simply would like to learn to scuba dive at their leisure time, open schedule for classroom sessions. One session in pool like conditions per week.

Tuition

Private Program $600.00

Semiprivate $475.00

Schedule B: Group Program

Four week Program. One classroom session a week (Tues or Thurs). One pool like session a week (Sat or Sun 8:30 am).

Tuition $375.00 with a group of 6

At the end of any program’s classroom and pool like sessions you will make four open water dives, at the Smith River.

Prerequisites:

Must be 10 years of age or older and be able to swim. Medical statement/release signed.

Equipment & Materials included in the price:

Manual, Dive Planner, Wetsuit, Regulator, Tanks, BCD, & Weights

Equipment & Materials Required:

Personal snorkel gear (Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Booties, Gloves, Weight Belt), Logbook and photo. Available at discounted prices
